Jonker, H. (1912-2002). Documentary series of 15 black-and-white press photographs

depicting the artists Bob Buys, Eppo Doeve, Melle, Jan Peeters, Lotte Ruting, Edgar Toussaint, Joep Voghtschmidt a.o., during a group session of making paintings and drawings on the walls, ceilings, doors etc. of partly tiled rooms in Sociëteit De Kring (Amsterdam) and results of the session. 18.5 x 17.5 cm to 24.5 x 28 cm, ca. 1960, all w. copyright stamp of Particam Pictures w. the name Henk Jonker and annotations in pencil verso.

A few photographs w. stains. A very nice documentary series, one photograph w. price-list of beverages of Sociëteit De Kring (Amsterdam). The series was apparently published in an unknown number of the periodical O.V.N. (Ons Vrije Nederland). Some of the annotations in pencil: "De surrealist Melle en de expressionist Bob Buys werken nauw samen." "De tekenares Lotte Ruting en de schilder Edgar Toussaint mengen verf."
