[Album amicorum] Album with twenty contributions dated 1853-1865

The album containing 4 drawings (two w. text verso), 8 written contributions (one w. oval silk ribbon border woven through the paper, two w. sm. illustration) and 8 embroiderd contributions w. texts verso, loosely inserted in bookshaped board box covered w. red watered silk adorned w. gold paper borders and ornaments on the in- and outside, a.e.g., 10 x 17.5 x 2.5 cm, orig. paper chemise and board slipcase. Some edgewear to silk covers. A few names: A. Stokhuyzen (Leiden, 1854, nice river landscape in brown watercolour), J. Braam ("Souvenir à C.P. Müssert", view of buildings in a valley monogrammed "C.P.M."), "CBos 1865" (perhaps Christiaan Bos, 1835-1918, skillful drawing dep. bible-scene "Mattheus 5.6.7.", signed as indicated verso), G. v.d. Bosch (Leeuw., 1853), Hendrika Schuil (Leeuw., 1853), "Dein Onckel E.F. van den Bosch", J.L. van den Bosch-Couvée (Leiden), "Uwe U liefhebbende zuster J. Visser (Leiden, 1859) and "Uwe U liefhebbende zuster J.C. Visser" (Leiden, 1858).
