Cloppenburgh, 1636/ 1635, 2 parts in one volume, with engraved title page, woodcut illustrations of Roman archeological finds, a view of the Burcht in Leiden and 62 portraits with diverse, abundantly decorated Renaissance borders, 18th-century half leather, gilt back with raised bands with morocco title shield.

Paper across boards rubbed, yet a very good copy with only minimal defects to interior. Quire Mmm in the second part with sloppy printing, with a small misprint on p. 179 as a consequence. Fine edition, the first edition appeared in 1606. Part 2 with separate intertitle: Corte historische beschryvinghe der Nederlantsche oorlogen (...) (Amsterdam, Cloppenburgh, 1635).
