Rare unique publication for the occasion of the death of Sophie of Württemberg (1818-1877). With dedication in pen: "Aan mijne lieve Zuster Antoinette 5 Dec. 1877 Joseph". PiCarta (3 copies) lists publication date 1878. Furthermore inserted: sheet with letterpress poem "Bij de dood van H.M. de Koningin" by Alberdingk Thijm with his manuscript dedication to Pierre Cuypers [Antoinette's husband], a photographic portrait and a letterpress bifolium with poem dedicated to Joseph Alberdingk Thijm by A.C.Th. Cuypers [Antoinette]; (2) Volks-Almanak voor Nederlandsche Katholieken in het jaar des heeren 1854, bij-een-gebracht door Jos. Alb. Alberdingk Thijm en H.J.C. Nouhuys.
