Two rare Aesop editions: (1) Fabulae Aesopi Græce et Latine,

nunc denuo selectæ: eae item, quas Avienus carmine expressit. Accedit Ranarum et murium pugna, Homero olim asscripta: cum elegantissimis in utroque libello figuris (...) in usum scholarum. Amsterdam, Apud Jansonio-Waesbergios, 1726, 134,(2) p., text in Greek and Latin in columns, with woodcut title vignette and 47 woodcut illustrations after Van Sichem, plain contemporary cardboard (binding worn but content very good).

With: (2) Fabulae Aesopi Graecè & Latinè nunc denuo selectae (...) in usum scholarum. Utrecht, weduwe G. van Poolsum, 1699, 134,(2) p., with woodcut title illustration and 47 woodcut illustrations after Van Sichem, contemporary cover, small 8vo (size 12mo) (lacks most of final leaf; front cover together with 1st quire tender). With the same illustrations as the former, but cut slightly differently (total 2).
