First 30 vols. uniformly bound, 4to, halfleather, title on spine in gilt stamping; the first vol. with half title, illus. frontispiece by J.J. Flipart after H. Gravelot, title of La Henriade with place and date of issue, engraving of Hubert Gravelot by J. Massard after La Tour, XXXII,483 pp. and another 10 full-page engravings (of "La Henriade") after H. Gravelot by various engravers. Vols. 2-6 with 32 full-page engravings after H. Gravelot, vol. 14 with 46 engravings in the text. A few vols. with mild (water)staining. Vol. 7 with two shaky pp. Lacks 6 (of 7) portraits. Altogether approx. 15,000 text p. and 42 full-page engravings. Vols. 31-45 published by Jean-François Bastien in Paris in the fourth year of the Republic [1796]. 4to, uniformly bound with the former with minimal divergence in size and spine titles.
