Good copy with some small defects inside. Rebacked using the original backstrip and later morocco title shield. Bound with: Thalamus Sponsi oft t'Bruydegoms Beddeken (...). Ghemaeckt door den Eerw. H. Michiel Zachmoorter (...). Idem, ibidem, 1623, (4),318,(8) p. Two very rare first editions in one binding, by the infamous Ghent vicar Michiel Zachmoorter (1582-1660). Moreover, this copy has a special provenance with various contemporary owner's marks: on the endpaper a name in pen "Suster Albertina Doutremont", at the top of the title page a name in pen "Sr. Mariemagdalena Immens". On the reverse of the title of the former a nice late 17th century remark: "Desen boeck is gegeven tot gebruyck ende troost vande Siecken daerom moet altyt opt Sieckhuys blyven tot dier intentie is hy gegeven van Sr. Marie Magdalena Immens met permissie van haere overste de eerwerdige vrouw priorinne Sr. Cecila [sic] Dorigon den 14 febr. 1690."
