[Van Hall and Cremer Eindhoven families]

Cleve 1889. 2 Augustus." Album commemorating the silver wedding of Maurits Cornelis van Hall (1836-1900) and Debora Cremer Eindhoven (1843-1906), 1890, 16 leafs with a contribution on one side, mostly by members of the Van Hall family, bound in rich gilt and blind-stamped full leather with gilt lettered title on front, gilt edges, 27.5 x 21 cm.

The pair married on 2 August 1864 and had 9 children. The large archive of the Van Hall family is located in the Amsterdam City Archives. The album includes an illustrated title page and a gouache by Major General A.N.J. Fabius (married in 1884 to M.E. Cremer Eindhoven, see http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold_Nicolaas_Jacobus_Fabius); a contribution with pen drawing by F.A. van Hall (son); a pen drawing by Nancy Bosch; a pasted photographic view of the city with a contribution by Anna d.B. below; a handwritten piece of sheet music by E. van Hall (son); a nice caricature drawing in pen by H.A. Waller and written contributions by (some sons and daughters) Suze van Hall, J. van Hall, Frits van Hall, A.F. van Hall, Hanna van Hall, Bernard van Hall and "Uwe Betty".
