Folio, uniform binding, leather, title on spine in brown and gilt stamping, marbled endpapers, portrait of the author by A. van Dyck before the title, 4 title pages in red and black with larger printer's vignette by Harrewijn and numerous vignettes and capitals in woodcut in the text. Bindings with signs of use, spine vol. 3 damaged, inside here and there tanned pages and stains, else good.

Aubert Miraeus (Aubert le Mire) wrote the: Notitia ecclesiarum Belgii, Antwerp, 1630. This and other works by Miraeus were adapted by J.F. Foppens with the title: Opera Diplomatica et Historica, in 4 volumes, Leuven and Brussels, 1723–48. Rare complete set. (total 4)
