[Aart Klein] Capi-Lux Joop Alblas Prijs 1982

Lot consisting of the original jury report of two cardboard pages tied together with a ribbon, a card with the names and signatures of the 4 jury members, a card with a statement of the official institution of the prize, and a photo of the actual awarding by Hans Samson, together in the original paperboard folder, 39 x 30 cm.

Aart Klein was awarded the Capi-Lux Joop Alblas Prijs (introduced in 1980 for the occasion of the 40th professional anniversary of Alblas) on 29 October 1982 in the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam. The jury consisted of Piet Blaak, Frans de la Cousine (chairman), C. de Wijn and F.F. Hazelhoff. In the report, they name Aart Klein an excellent photographer: "Als mens en fotograaf is Aart Klein wars van gekunsteldheid en mooipraterij. Zij fotografie volgt de maker. Deze onderstreept als ware zijn karakter. Dit alles ten gunste van de velen die zijn beelden waarderen en ervan genieten."
