The American Lunchroom Cy. 1898-1923

Celebratory album, published for the 25th anniversary of the Lunchroom, 1923, with 13 letterpress text leafs, a photographic portrait of founder W.C. Sickesz, a photo of a presented tile painting and 25 pasted photos of both the interior and exterior of the company, bound in full gilt lettered leather, edges gilt, oblong folio.

Unfortunately, the album is completely affected by damp, with the photos still in very good condition. Leather stained and scratched in places. Despite the water damage a beautiful album of this famous establishment, which was established with its facade on Kalverstraat 16-18, but in depth ran all the way to N.Z. Voorburgwal.
