In XVIII boecken waerachtelijck en onpartijdelijck beschreven door Pieter Bor Christiaensz. int Jaer 1621 [5 vols. in 6 bindings] Vol I. to V.: Nederlantsche Oorloghen, beroerten ende Borgerlijcke oneenicheyden beginnende mette Opdrachte der selver Landen gedaen by keyser Karel de V. aen zijnen zoon Koninck Philippus van Spangien tot (...) den Slach in Vlaenderen ende den aencleven van dien. Beschreven door Pieter Bor Christiaenszoon. Gedruckt tot Amsterdam, Michiel Colijn, Leyden, Govert Basson, 1621-1634. Folio, 6 bindings, parchment, uniform binding, 6 titles and 3 illus. frontispieces and a large printer's vignette, 2 large portraits of the author, an engraved map of the Netherlands, 24 small portraits and more than 150 engraved images in the text (copied from Baudartius). The parchment bindings with in the middle a blind stamp and line embroidery on front and back cover, bindings with heavy signs of use, endpapers with stamps; a few pages loose and in the fourth volume a double page is missing.

Exhaustive history of the revolt of the Netherlands against Spain. The first two volumes contain the history of the revolt up to the death of William of Orange. The next two volumes continue the history up to the surprise at Breda in 1590. In 1630 the fifth volume was completed and in 1634 the sixth and final volume which ends with the Battle of Nieuwpoort. Of great historic importance because of the many documents printed by Bor in-extenso.
