(1809), (2),120,(4) p., with stipple-engraved frontispiece portrait (Louis Napoléon), large folding, engraved map of the Kingdom of Holland with coloured outlines and a large folding, engraved Stedewijzer (distance chart), finely bound in contemporary marbled polished calf ('treecalf''), both boards with gilt border, back gilt with 5 empire vases and morocco title shield in compartments.

Lacks the map of Amsterdam. The map with large, covered tear, here and there small defects such as old annotations in the blank margins. Translation and extensive adaptation of Evert Maaskamp's 'Nieuwe reiziger door het koningrijk Holland: behelzende al het merkwaardige in elke stad en haren omtrek' published in the same year.
