mostly in black chalk and pencil (partly heightened with white), and ca. 16 x 20 cm., middle 19th century, from the estate of Ada Kuypers, Amsterdam. Blindstamped and gilt lettered ("Album") leather bookshaped box, all edges gilt, 19.5 x 26 cm. (album with defects, drawings in good condition).

Lovely collection of skillful drawings with various subjects, incl. coastal views, ice landscapes, a "Gezigt uit de Pastorie op het dorp Varseveld", views of Hardenberg and other places and various country scenes with livestock. Partly with indication of the artist after whom the work was made, for example Edward Landseer, Van Bremen, A. Waldorp, J.M.H. Ten Kate, v.d. Maaten, J.F. Hoppenbrouwers, and J. Weissenbruch.
