I.B. van Vignola.

With scattered old children's drawing in pencil and pen (fencing figures, caricatures) and here and there slightly stained; bottom margin of the text cut slightly short; 1 interior hinge broken. The numbering of the plates is as follows: 1x unnumbered (with the scales mentioned divided into 12 and 18 parts), the remainder numbered 1-42 with number 12 appearing three times and numbers 35 and 36 on one plate. In our copy, the frontispiece shows the address of Cornelis Danckerts; the copy digitised by Google has in its place "L. Renard Excudit". Moreover, the engraved title vignettes are different and of two of three plates with number 12 of the digitised copy, the number with the second and third plate is re-engraved and provided with * and **. Else the editions are apparently identical. Therefore, at least two printings from 1726 exist of this reduced Vignola edition.
