Worn along spine, else good copy, with the name H. Zwanenbeek Pauw and date 28/9/ 1880 on title-page and free endpaper. This earlier owner also lists members of the Pauw family that are mentioned in the letters of Hooft, each time with the numer of the letter and that of the the leaf on which the name is is found. This can be easily traced in the copy that is digitally available online.
