Here and there waterstained. Endpapers loose from boards, bookblock tender. Rare; (2) Gasparis Scioppii Comitis clare vallae Infamia famiani (...) cura et industria Johannis Fabri (...). Amsterdam, Aegidius Jansonius Valkenier, 1663, (12),225 p. (p. 205 folding), contemporary calf with gilt, ribbed back, 12mo (front board loose). With various intriguing ownership marks such as crowned insignia on the spine, a small diamondshaped ex libris with monogram "CC" and name B. Quaritch in pencil on inside back board.
