[Pamphlets. Nicolaus Mulerius] Two very small publications

(1) Waerachtich ende genoechlijc discours, hoe dat wy door Godes ghenaden, aen de Nederlandtsche vrede-handel zijn ghecomen [by Nicolaus Mulerius]. No place, publisher or date (ca. 1608), bifolium, 10 x 8.3 cm.

Curious and very rare micro-pamphlet, of which several variants are known, incl. variants with the name of the author. Of these, our anonymous variant is the smallest and perhaps the earliest. Het testament vande oorloghe wordt hier vertelt, deur selden tijdt, zonder strijdt, in baladen ghestelt [by Nicolaus Mulerius]. No place or publisher, "Ghedruckt int Jaer ons Heeren Duysen ses hondert ende seven", (8) p., with large woodcut title vignette, without binding (right margin trimmed obliquely, loose in two sheets). Compare Knuttel 1409. Of this pamphlet, too, multiple variants exist, the earliest without the name of the author like ours. Online several anonymous variants from 1607 can be found, but with woodcuts on the title page different from our copy. In fact also part of songbook collecting (total 2).
