Collection of 7 highly diverse works in 21 volumes,

incl. (1) Aardrijkskundig woordenboek der Nederlanden, bijeengebragt door A.J. van der AA. Gorinchem, J. Noorduyn, 1839-1851, 14 parts (incl. supplement) in 7 volumes, modern uniform cloth with the original leather letterpieces preserved.

Here and there heavily browned, bookblock of one binding tender. Copy of A.C. Snouckaert van Schauburg, with his name and date 1869 and ex libris in several volumes. Unexpectedly with here and there pasted/ inserted items, such as 2 original drawings of the Gevangenpoort at Bergen op Zoom (1869, monogrammed), a drawing of the Slot at Woerden, 2 pen drawings of the Havezate Buckhorst (demolished in 1841), pen drawings of Kasteel Ellewoutsdijk and Kranenbroek mansion and a number of (mostly handcoloured) 18th-century engravings by Spilman and others with views of Doornenburg mansion, Den Eyk, Kommandeury and the Ridderhofstad at Harmelen, the church at Jutfaas, Huis ter Mey, mansion at Spangen, Vronestein and handwritten letters by Notaris F.M.H. Haan. (2) Dictionaire Portatif of Nederduitsch en Fransch woorden-boekje (...) door Pieter Marin (...). Vierde druk. Amsterdam, Jan van Eyl, 1744, (6),842 p., contemporary half sheepskin (very poor copy, sold w.a.f. but this edition not in PiCarta); (3) Historie der regeering van Keyzer Karel den Vyfden (...) door William Robertson. Rotterdam, D. Vis en P. Holstein, 1772-1774, 6 volumes, contemporary uniform half leather (3 spine ends damaged) (total 7 works in 21 volumes).
