Alles 't zamengestelt en getrokken uit oude handtschriften, memorien, en brieven, en met zeer veele echte bewysstukken (te vooren noit gedrukt) bevestigt: door verscheide liefhebbers en kenners der Nederlandsche oudheden. Boitet, 1729, complex (occasionally erroneous) pagination: (24),132,(43),132-563,564 (23x this page number),565-804,(14) p., with engraved frontispiece, dedication, fine large folding profile (width 124 cm), 2 large folding plans (1x strengthened on folds), 17 double-p. plates and 1 other plate (all according to binder's index), contemporary blinstamped vellum, folio.

A few plates sl. frayed; occ. folds/ dog ears. Vellum sl. soiled, split at upper joints and a few small tears. Nijhoff/ Van Hattum 34. Good and complete LARGE PAPER copy with owner's entry in pen of Cornelis Franciscus van Berckel (1817-1885), merchant, president of the Chamber of Commerce at Delft and member of the Provincial Assembly of South Holland. One of the finest descriptions of the city, with the splendid large profile, fine views by C. Decker and two plans (depicting the city in 1560 and 1672).
