Wood, Keulemans, Baines, Robinson, Fitch; a full-page coloured map after Wallace and Melvil by Carnbee. Large coloured, folded and folding map after Wallace and Allen in lithography by P.W.M. Trap.

The famous work by naturalist Wallace, here for the first time translated into Dutch by P.J. Veth. This edition is important due to the extensive additional annotations by Veth. Rebound, new endpapers. Here and there light browning, bindings with light traces of use, else very good copies (total 2).
