Photos and correspondence Surabaya 1947

Circa 100 mostly small-size photos from Lieutenant Wim Brandhof to his beloved Rietje. On reverse often a short text. Partly photos of himself or his comrades, several more interesting such as the capture of a native killer. Added nos. 1-5, 7, 8 and 9 of the magazine "In het vizier", orgaan van III-12 R.I., 1947, several Koninklijke Landmacht coupons and letters from the Indies to his Rietje. Added also the last letter in which he confesses to having had an affair with a nurse and his plea not to think of him too unkindly.
