(Lyon), Iohannes Clein, 1519, 4 parts in one volume, altogether (454) leaves (incl. last blank), title page printed in red and black with centered printer's mark surrounded by decorative woodcut borders, many woodcut initials, contemporary blindstamped sheepskin with attractive old manuscript leaves on insides of both boards, folio.

Partly waterstained. With old owner's annotations on title and endpaper and the stamp of Bibliotheca Carmelitarum Merkelbeek on the title. The book consists of one quire of 10 leaves (title and subsequent 9 leaves), 9 quires of 8 leaves (all quires with one or more As and one quire P) and 62 quires of 6 leaves. Altogether complete as far as we have been able to trace. The attractive but slightly enduring binding with various traces of use and age such as lacking pieces, rubbing, wormholes and gnawing, yet in acceptable condition.
