Geneva/ Paris, Monory, 1775, (4),312 p., with engraved frontispiece, stipple-engraved portrait, one plate and 3 engraved head- or tailpieces, many woodcut vignettes, contemporary half sheepskin, gilt and ribbed back with morocco letterpiece (very good copy).

(2) Méditations poétiques. Par M. Alphonse de Lamartine. Troisième édition. Paris, Dépot de la Librairie Grecque - Latine - Allemande, 1820, (4),126 p., finely contemporaneously bound in green morocco with gilt-lettered "J.J.C.H." (front board) and "Souvenir" (back board), both boards with gilt border on inside and outside, all edges and spine gilt (trifle foxed). Lovely copy with intriguing dedication in pen on the free endpaper: "À Madame Gericke d'Herwijnen nee Baronesse de Sales, le 21 aout 1841". And with (3) one more (total 3).
