Oil on canvas (marouflé on cardboard), 31.5 x 14.5 cm., signed and dated 1915 bottom right (thumbtack holes in corners).

Reverse with pasted handwritten address: "Mevr. v/d Horst. Laneustraat [Linnaeusstraat] 121 Amsterdam". Johannes van Gijn was a trader of Japanese art.
