[Utrecht University] Optogt des Nederlandschen Legers naar Ostende

den 3 July 1600, daags na de overwinning by Nieuwpoort (...) by gelegenheid van het Tweede Eeuwfeest der Utrechtse Hoogeschool den 16 Juny 1836. Utrecht en Rotterdam, Caramelli & Comp en A. Collings & Van den Hout. Oblong large folio, 10 large lithographed plates, meant to be joined, depicting the march of the Dutch armies to Ostende after the victory at Nieuwpoort in 1600. Lithographed by Lemercier, Paris after the drawings of Victor Adam, Paris and beautifully coloured by hand.

Complete with the program-leaf in print and acc. by a manuscript list of the "Hoofdrollen te Paard". Fine set with the bookplate of H.C. Dietz in corner of the first leaf. A few small tears at the sides. Scarce.
