[Bartmann jugs] Lot with 3 Bartmann jugs

all of glazed stoneware decorated in relief, probably Frechen, late 16th/ early 17th century, height 27 cm (2x) and 32 cm.

(1) Darkest jug with modest decoration has only a bearded face and a small rosette, but ostensibly virtually undamaged (superficial defects to glazing, probably ex factory); (2) Largest jug with finely formed bearded face above a medallion with standing figure in renaissance dress (cracks); (3) Third jug decorated like the largest, medallion with crowned heart (several pasted fragments).
