Leather binding, small folio, (10),163,(15),(2) pp. Allegorical frontispiece in copper engraving with e.g. the arms of Spain and the city arms of Breda, finely designed by Cornelis Galle after the design by P.P. Rubens. Complete with 13 full-page/ double-page copper engravings of maps and fortifications; also 2 wood engravings in the text. The engraving on p. 11 pasted over with the image of the engraving on p. 35 and the engraving on p. 35 pasted over with the image of the engraving on p. 11, spine and binding with traces of use, various small stains, sticker and stamp to endpapers; ann. to endpaper in ms. dated 1699. Good copy.
