[Architecture. Churches] Jan Stuyt (1868-1934)

"Wyzerplaten toren St Agneskerk te Amsterdam". Original pencil drawing finished with watercolour. 43 x 44 cm. Signed b.r., dated 1932 + plan of the plot of the Sint-Agneskerk in Amsterdam bordering on Lomanstraat. 2 pencil drawings finished with watercolour on 1 leaf. Leaf 61.5 x 71 cm + 2 designs for the interior of the church at Itteren (Maastricht area): 60.5 x 61.5 cm and 31 x 27 cm. Several designs with tears - and manuscript letter from Stuyt to a priest on Stuyt's stationery, dated 1932.

The architect Stuyt is mostly known as one of the most important Dutch church builders of the 20th century, but especially in Limburg he also designed whole neighbourhoods. The Sint-Agneskerk in Amsterdam was built between 1919 and 1932 after his design. (total 5)
