Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). (Petit nu couché)

Colour lithograph, leaf size 9 x 17.5 cm., signed and dated "le 14.3.63" in the medium.

Small fold and minimal dent to lower left corner. Previously framed and in mount (both preserved with the lot, with underlying sheet of paper with signed dedication in blue pencil: "Pour mon ami Barillet, Picasso le 20.11.64". At a Sotheby's auction in 2001 we found an original drawing by Picasso, with exactly this dedication, instead dated 20 January 1964. The colouring of our copy is different from other copies we traced.
