(1809), (2),120,(4) p., with stipple-engraved frontispiece portrait (Louis Napoléon), and 3 large folding engravings: map of the Kingdom of Holland with coloured outlines, plan of Amsterdam and Stedewijzer (distance table), finely bound in contemporary polished calf, both boards with gilt border, spine gilt with 5 empire vases and (sl. dam.) morocco letterpiece in compartments.

Map is stained and torn (repaired); plan and Stedewijzer with small tears, plan and part of the contents also sl. stained/ soiled. Acceptable copy with contemporary "Velthuysen" in pen to title page. Translation and extensive adaptation of Evert Maaskamp's 'Nieuwe reiziger door het koningrijk Holland: behelzende al het merkwaardige in elke stad en haren omtrek' issued in the same year.
