Trifle tanned along edges of leaf and with minimal chips to the paper along the left and right edges; minor and faded sunned spot in the image. Fine copy. Bloch 93. Originally published as the twelfth plate in the series of illustrations with "Le chef-d'oeuvre inconnu" by Balzac (published in Paris by Vollard, 1931), probably one of 65 copies with an extra suite.
