Gouache, 21.5 x 28.5 cm, signed with pen lower r., mounted with head margin on cardboard.

On reverse-side of the carrier "Rotterdamsche tijd 1918" [Rotterdam period 1918] is written in pencil. We suspect this drawing depicts the festivities in honour of Wilhelmina's coronation in 1898 (Jaap van Dam moved to Amsterdam in 1910).
