[Fashion & costume. Lacework] Trade catalogue (?) with almost 240 samples of lacework,
last quarter 19th cent., various sizes, mostly black lace samples but also containing ± 7 white and 15 gold thread samples, all but 1 with small mounted paper label with the printed initials "A.L.L." and numbered in black and red pen, mounted on 16 paper leaves, orig. cordbound wrapper, large folio (55 x 40 cm).
A few samples lacking. The paper lvs. partly w. water stains; wrappers frayed/ torn and loosening. Rare collection of lace samples with all kinds of embroidered decorations, clearly meant as a kind of trade catalogue for customers.
