Louis Bolk (1866-1930), famous Dutch anatomist and embryologist. He was responsible for the creation of the Ontleedkundig Laboratorium at the Mauritskade in Amsterdam, that opened in 1909. Scarce first edition of this important work of the German anatomist and embryologist Emil Huschke (1797-1858), at the time providing new insights in human brain convolutions; (2) A. Ecker.
