Two versions of a stunning artists' book, consisting of 1 continuous pen drawing starting at the front cover, moving along all pages to the back cover, meanwhile creating an image on the unbound side of the book. This lot includes the first self-published version of the book (1974) as well as the 'professional' version (1989) published by Walther König and Hansjörg Mayer et al.

Softcover, 20 x 14 x 7 cm, 174 double pp. Contains an inscription by Voss from 1986 citing this book to be a sample for the professional edition that eventually appeared in 1989. Age toned and some small irregularities on the front page. Super rare. (2) Detour. Amsterdam/Cologne/Stuttgart&London/ Zurich/Recife, Boekie Woekie/Walther Konig/Hansjörg Mayer/Stähli, 1989.
