[Friedrich Fröbel] Manuscript report of a school course with numerous orig. examples

Very extensive manuscript elaboration of a course in the manner of Friedrich Fröbel, first entry (on the life and work of Fröbel) dated 13 Jan. 1912 and final entry dated 19 June 1912 (signed by the teacher F. Schaak-Verboom), consisting of over 300 p. w. Dutch manuscript text and num. mounted examples of col. paper wickerwork, foldingwork (some framing orig. photographs) and collages, illustrations in pencil, num. printed plates from an original coursebook, all together in orig. hcl. w. giltlettered title "Fröbelwerk" on spine, 4to size.

A nice, extensive example of a course illustrating the ongoing popularity of the theories of Friedrich Fröbel (1782-1837) in the Netherlands at the time. The course comprises lessons on "Bouwen", "Vertellen", "Kleiwerk", "Spreekoefeningen", Vlechten", "Plakken", "Knippen", Mozaïek", "Legfiguren" and "Zingen".
