[Provo] Cor Jaring (1936-2013). Portraits of Robert Jasper Grootveld (1932-2009)

Incl. 2 photos of Grootveld as the "Anti-rook magiër": 1 of him working on the Klaasstoel (a collaboration w. Kees Hoekert (1929-2017), w. whom he founded the Lowlands Weed Company in 1969) and 1 w. the artist Yoshio Nakayima at the "Traffic in Town" protest. Also incl.: several photos of Grootveld at (weekly) happenings near 'het Lieverdje' (Spui) and 1 speaking at the Social Religious Conversation Centre. Robert Jasper Grootveld was an artist and forerunner of the Provo movement in Amst. He was an anti-smoking activist (the "Anti-rook magiër"). He also coined the White Bike plan, founded the Lowlands Weed Company and initiated the Insektensekte and Deskundologie movements together w. Max Reneman and Theo Kley. (total 8)
