Two rare early visual poetry catalogues from Philadelphia and Buenos Aires

(1) Expo Internacional de Novísima Poesía 69. Buenos Aires, Centro de Artes Visuales del Instituto Torcuato Di Tella, 1969. Stapled booklet, 22 x 20.5 cm, 20 pp. Text in Spanish. Exhibition organized by Edgardo Antonio Vigo featuring over one hundred international concrete, visual, and sound poets including de Campos, Valoch, Giorno, MacLow, Solt, Bory, Chopin, Damen, Houedard, Sarenco and Lijn. The cover shows Man Ray’s ‘Poema sonoro’ from 1924. Minor rubbing to cover, fine copy.

(2) The arts in fusion: an international exhibition at Tyler School of Art, January 23 to February 17, 1966. Philadelphia, Temple University, 1966. Stapled booklet, 20.5 x 21.5 cm, 16 pp. Lists a broad selection of about one hundred international participants including many Fluxus artists and Gappmayr, Kriwet, Heidseick, Furnival et al.
