Lot of five miscellaneous manuscripts: (1) Leerreden op de zondagen

Collection of manuscript quires, late 18th-early 19th cent., w. a total of ca. 350 pages of text on quires of lvs. in two different 4to sizes, contemp. marbled boards w. mor. title-shield "Leerreden op de zondagen".

Binding a bit worn along extremities. Most of the chapters are dated several times, e.g. the first page: "Op den eersten Zondag na Pinksteren 1786, 90, 93, 1804" (in other chapters, dates appear that are sl. earlier or later). Each Sunday after Pentecost is dealt with, ending with "Leerrede voor den laatsten Zondag nae Pinksteren 1778, 94." These chapters all begin w. a Latin bible-verse, followed by an "Inleiding", "Verklaering" and "Toepassing". We found several printed works with similar titles, but couldn't establish a direct link between our manuscript and a printed version. -and 4 miscell. 19th cent. others: 2 alba amicorum and 2 vols. w. manuscript poetry.
