Jolanta Marcolla and Zdziskaw Sosnowski

Stunning work by long overlooked, but rediscovered Polish artist Jolanta Marcolla (1950-), who made experimental films and conceptual photographs and co-founded 'Gallery of Current Art' in Wroclaw in 1970.

Includes: Jolanta Marcolla, Okulary (Glasses), April 1972. Four gelatin silver prints, each 9 x 6.5 cm. Collaged together by tape, 18 x 13 cm. Paper strip with title, date and address glued on verso. + Jolanta Marcolla. Photocopied b/w sheet with images and typed text Oferta (Offer), November 1971. 28.5 x 19 cm. + Zdziskaw Sosnowski, Jedzac ziemniaki widelcem o jednym zebie (Eating patatoes with a fork), 1971. 17.5 x 11 cm. Two gelatin silver prints collaged together by tape (now loose). + Photocopied sheet with b/w images of Zdziskaw shaving, accompanied by a long text in Polish. Dated November 1971. All works were sent to Ken Friedman and then to Tjeerd Deelstra. The original envelope is added. (total 4)
