Very rare work on therapeutical compressed air "baths", known as hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The ancient Greeks already knew the benefits of compressed air, but it was Emile Tabrie's introduction of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in 1832 that started a general interest in this therapy, still applied today. The present work includes a list of illnesses treated in the Stockholm facilities.
