Album for the "Bibliotheek Revue" at TU Delft
1925. 37 p., cord-bound leather album, 16 x 26 cm. Created for a revue performed for the library staff at the Technische Universiteit Delft. Album w. introductory poem and 16 pairs of manuscr. poems and (photomontage) plates, all mounted. The plates are either photogr., drawings or a combination (some also photomontages). The pairs of poems and plates are mostly about specific members of the staff, incl. head librarian A. Korevaar.
Arie Korevaar (1886-1964) was a Dutch chemical engineer, and head of the library at TU Delft from 1925 until 1951. He was the founder of the Centrale Technische Catalogus (CTC). Added: three manuscr. menu cards for the 50th wedding anniversary of Korevaar's parents (?), 1936. Each w. photogr. of the couple.
