Tokyo, Maki Kinban, 1897. 5 col. woodblock prints, measuring 37 x 24 cm. Includes cutout figures illustrating the capture of Goemon at the Fuji no Moro shrine. The first sheet presents an image of the assembled piece.

*Ishikawa Goemon is a legendary Japanese folk hero, comparable to Robin Hood. After his failed assassination attempt on the warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, he and his son were executed by being boiled alive in an iron cauldron. (total 5)
