[Épinal. Pellerin] Collection of over 8000 col. catchpenny prints

Published by Pellerin (& Co), Imagerie d'Épinal, late 19th to first half 20th cent., mostly folio sizes but also 4to, double-folio and larger prints (the largest measuring 77 x 65 cm). Generally in good/ acceptable condition considering the fragility of the paper.

A huge collection of prints with all kinds of subjects present, a number of prints with one single large image, a few prints heightened w. gold. The large sized prints (folded) mostly comprise theatre stages and wings (also many present in folio size), also including construction plates and illustrated songs. (total over 8000)
