Francoise Janicot. Dessins cadrés, 1971

Two collages framed between plexiglass, both signed. (1) Collage and mixed media. Signed, titled and dated on rear 'dessin cadré F. Janicot 1971'. The paper and gouache collage is squeezed between two transparent plexiglass plates, secured with four screws and bolts, 24 x 17 x 2 cm. A nylon hanging cord is fixed to the rear plate (as issued). Mild spots to the plexiglass, generally in amazingly crisp state.

(2) Collage and mixed media, 14 x 14 cm, signed on rear 'F. Janicot'. Paper collage held between two transparent plexiglass plates with two metal paper clips. One clip rusty, some irregularities to edges of the plates (possibly as issued), else in good condition. Both works derive from the collection of Guy Schraenen. (total 2)
