for the greater part 19th cent. and handcol., all (obl.) folio size. Comprises a.o.: (1) "Zie Gulivers geval. De landen t'aller wegen, beschreven in dez' print, zyn in de maan gelegen. Jeunesse dans ce tableau admire les passages qu'éprouva Guliver, dans ses curieux voyages." Stencil col. catchpenny print, 20 woodcuts w. captions in Dutch and French, "No. 17" in lower right corner, Harlingen, A.F. (de) Ruiter, ca. 1825. Central hole in one of the lower ills., folded and w. sm. tears/ holes on folds. Extremely rare, not in Boerma et al or De Meyer. We only traced 1 variant copy at auction in 2011, without address and w. diff. number. (2) De dood van den Hertog van Berry. Vermoord te Parys den 13 Februarius 1820. La mort du Duc de Berry (...). Stencil col. catchpenny print, 6 woodcuts w. captions in Dutch and French, "No. 47" in lower right corner, Leeuw., J. Proost, ca. 1830. Waterst. and w. folds.
