Clipbound interior with approx. 250 pp., executed in various techniques such as handmade collages, photocopies, offset, ink and stamps. Produced in a limited edition of 300, this copy hand-numbered 128/300. Mild corner bumps to the folder, else in excellent state.
Comprises the third issue of the Westeast anthologies, doubling as a catalogue for the exhibition held at Škuc Gallery in Ljubljana in July and August of 1979. The show was organized by the international art organization Westeast, founded by Franci Zagoricnik. Between 1978 and 1985, Westeast compiled ten anthologies, modeled after the famous Geiger anthologies of experimental poetry. The 1979 exhibition presented more than 100 artists’ approaches to visual poetry, concrete poetry and mail art. The catalogue features works by most of the artists in the exhibition including Ivo Antic, Oreste Amato, Goran Babic, Eduard Bal, Ulises Carrion (Open Closed stamp), Bill Gaglione, Klaus Groh, Katalin Ladik, Maria Lai (embroidery on paper), Zoran Mirkovic, Slavko Matkovic, Ikuo Mori, Luciano Ori, Michele Perfetti, Vladan Radovanovic, Balinth Szombathy, Gabor Tóth, Timm Ulrichs, Franci Zagoricnik (punch card), and many more. Scarce, one copy held at the Kontakt Collection in Vienna.
