Large folio (53 x 39.5 cm). Occas. cut inside the plate-mark, w. occ. wormholes mostly confined to margins (a few maps unobtrusively affected). Covers w. some stains and sm. chafed spots, head and tail of spine damaged, upper headband almost loose. Part of old ticket on spine, two outer corners showing. In all, a good copy w. engr. bookplate of Louis François, Marquis de Monteynard (1713-1791), first governor of Corsica and French state secretary at the department of war.
