Ons Vrij Nederland archive incl. work on and by Toonder, Kresse, ca. 1945-48

Large archive Ons Vrij Nederland including two binder with ca. 140 drawings, cartoons and comic strips and storylines (many by undefined illustrators), hand-written and drawn set-ups for OVN etc. Together with one binder with storylines, invoices, correspondence, bank statements etc. on the work of Marten Toonder for OVN. A selection: (1) Ink drawings and storylines from 'Drie Musketiers'. (2) Approx. 20 drawings and several storylines Schout bij Nacht Specky (illustrator unknown). (3) Several typed and hand-written scenarios for the Tom Poes comics in OVN. (4) Invoices, correspondence on the publishing outside OVN by Toonder, Band statements and more on Tom Poes (apparently Toonder was the highest payed weekly contributor). (5) Typed text 'Een Valsche Tom Poes'. (5) Many drawings by Horwitz and Mile. (6) Two poignant caricatures of Adolf Hitler by Hans G. Kresse and a satirical text on his escape, thought possible and plausible in the first few weeks after he was pronounced dead. And much more.
